Cumalıkızık, which is one of the regions where the Ottomans first settled in Bursa, carries the Ottoman period housing texture to the present day with a total of 270 houses, 180 of which are still in use, and some of them are protected and restored. The Ottoman Principality, which was established near Bursa, succeeded in dominating the region shortly after its establishment, and by conquering Bursa in 1326 and İznik in 1331, it made its presence known in the region. Thus, it was ensured that the Ottoman people settled in these lands and formed cities and villages. Cumalıkızık was established as a foundation village and reflected this feature in its settlement texture, residential architecture and lifestyle. In Cumalıkızık, which was deemed appropriate to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014. We visit the Guest House, Art House, Shepherd's House, and Ethnography Museum and try to pass through the Gin Range, which is the narrowest gap in the world. Bringing the 700-year-old Ottoman civil architecture to the present day, Cumalıkızık has an urban legend that will live on as long as Cin Aralığı Street survives. Located in Cumalıkızık, Cin Aralığı is considered the narrowest street in the world. It is rumored that; During the War of Independence, the Greek soldiers raided the village of Cumalıkızık, gathered all the villagers to the mosque, and decided to burn the temple. The villagers somehow manage to evade the Greeks and escape from the mosque. On the street they entered, there is a narrow gap at the point where the two houses end. When viewed from the street entrance, which is large enough for a person to pass through, it appears to be a dead end. The villagers, passing through the narrow gap, reach the hill where the Turkish soldiers are positioned. According to the legend, when the Greek soldiers came to the entrance of the street, they could not believe their eyes and said, "It is impossible for people to escape from here. This is only the work of the demons." It is said that the name of the street is Cin Aralığı since then. After the free time we will give in the village, we are going to Bursa.
